Invitation

Dear Colleagues,

You are invited to OneStudentry’s 2009 Innovations in Student Leadership Conference held at the Arlington campus of George Mason University on Saturday, April 25th, 2009. The ISLC Conference networks international development and conflict resolution students, academics, and practitioners from Washington, DC metropolitan area. Our theme this year is “Conflict Resolution and Governance Today”, come find out what some of DC’s most innovative youth leaders, scholars, and practitioners have to say about our changing times.

Last year’s conference drew over 150 students from schools all over the DC area! OneStudentry was proud to host some of the most innovative student leaders in the Washington area.

OneStudentry supports a network of conflict resolution and international development undergraduate, graduate, and law students from every major university in metropolitan Washington through an interactive internet resource. Register at Onestudentry.org!

About OneStudentry

OneStudentry is a grassroots, student-founded organization designed to enhance and promote collaboration throughout and between the fields of conflict resolution and international development in Washington, D.C. To achieve these goals, OneStudentry engages students, academics, practitioners, student organizations, advocacy groups, NGOs and government agencies. OneStudentry founded a website in March 2007 with the goal of providing a central location for information sharing amongst these parties. OneStudentry also hosts a yearly gathering, the Innovations in Student Leadership Conference, which serves to connect students and professionals in creative and energizing ways. It is the hope of the organization that the synergistic pairing of face-to-face community building and a supporting online resource will act to coordinate the initiative and projects of those throughout the fields of both conflict resolution and international development.
